How to make brownies?

You will need the following items:

  • ¾ cup All-purpose flour
  • Eggs 2
  • Oil
  • Granulated sugar
  • Chocolate chunks according to your preference 
  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder (unsweetened for sure)
  • Vanilla extract few drops
  • A bit of water


The first step to start with your brownies is, take a saucepan filled with water ( maybe 2 to 3 inches). Heat the water. Place a bowl having butter, salt, and sugar in it. Let them melt by the heat of your double boiler. This is the step, or you can say the main action, which will result in getting crackly tops of your brownies. 

Once the granulated sugar and butter are completely melted, take off the bowl from the boiler. Now add the eggs to the mixture one by one. This helps you save your remedy from any rotten egg if you have one. Mix it properly. 

Now, mix in the dry ingredients. Make sure you have sifted the flour and cocoa powder together at least three times to avoid any lumps. While adding, keep this in mind, the batter will be thick enough.

Take an 8×8 mold and grease it perfectly. Place the butter paper also. Add the mixture to the pan and tap the mold two to three times to remove any air bubbles. Your oven should be preheated. Place the mold in the oven and bake it for a good 20 to 25 minutes. Take notice of time. Check the mold at 18 minutes if the toothpick comes with something crumbly mixture over it. Then, take the mold out of the oven. Your brownies are ready. 

Make sure you don’t overcook the brownies. Undercooked brownies will set after a few minutes in the air. But the over-cooked brownies won’t. So, make sure to eat healthily and stay healthy.
